Woods-Thomas-Nuckolls Area of Edge Cemetery

Lucinda "Lucindy" Edge was born in Henry County, Georgia in 1840 and died in Boerne, Kendall, Texas in Jan 1897. She was the daughter of Thomas Edge and Ressey Williams Cobb Edge. She was the sister of W B Edge.

She married George Short (1833 - died in Civil War) in 1856. They had two children:

Matilda Short;

George Washington Short, Jr.

She married John W Woods on 12 Sep 1867

They had at least five children:

Joseph Edward Woods;

John Andrew Woods;

Thomas Calvin Woods;

Mary A Woods; and

Forrest Lee Woods.
