Donie Schmidt was born 31 Jul 1887 in Kendalia,
Kendall, Texas and died in Blanco, Blanco, Texas 31 Dec 1972.
She was the daughter of Christian J Schmidt and Annie Leistikow Schmidt.
On 3 Nov 1903 she married Peter John Krause. They had two children:
Dora Ann Krause who married Martin Lux; and
Eddie Clarence Krause who married Norma Fischer.
