Alvina Spangenberg was born 15 Jun 1871 in
Comal County, Texas and died in Kendall County, Texas on 18 Jan 1930.
She was the daughter of Hermann Spangenberg and Anna Maria Wersdoerfer Spangenberg.
On 23 Mar 1891 she married Hubert Schmidt. They had nine children:
Adolph Schmidt who married Lillie Mills;
Edda Schmidt who married
Johann Adam "John" Kneupper,
John Haecker, and
Otto Heinrich Julius Schaefer;
Minna Schmidt who married
Oda Theodore Montgomery and
Edwin Theodore DeLaney;
Edgar Schmidt who married Nelda Meta Birck;
Johnnie Frank Schmidt who married Cora Belle Elsworth;
Herman Henry Schmidt who married Tilda Mae Mills;
Thekla Matilda Schmidt who married
Alfred A Kraft and
Albert Zeller;
Walter George Schmidt; and
Monroe Max Schmidt who married Cleva Arleeta Bowman.
