Violet Cecile Smith was born 15 Jan 1919 in San
Antonio, Bexar, Texas and died in Blanco, Blanco, Texas on 29 Aug 2012.
She was the daughter of Austin Virgil Smith and Eula Nicholson Smith.
On 19 Sep 1935 she married Walter Edwin Eckermann in San Antonio, Bexar, Texas. They had three children:
Elizabeth Cecile Eckermann (8 May 1937 - living) who married Robert Allen Shapley;
Walter Edwin Eckermann (9 Nov 1938 - 1960 - lost at sea); and
Sharon Eckermann (1944 - died in infancy).
On 29 Nov 1966 she married H B Ramsour.
